When you encounter a bug, technical issue, or other problem with a game, we want to hear about it! But rather than posting anywhere on the forum—where your problem can get lost amongst the feedback, opinions, and other contributions—we’ve created dedicated spaces and helpful guides to make sure your bug report has the best chance of getting seen, reproduced, logged, and addressed!

REPORTING A GAME BUG

A GAME BUG, in general terms, is any issue in the game that results in unintended behaviours, balance, or experiences when playing. While feedback is focused on making changes to a system that’s working as intended (even if it’s not working optimally), a bug report highlights or explains a defect that isn’t working as intended.

✘ FEEDBACK: “My melee units are ineffective against archers because they’re unable to close the gap before getting shot. Increasing their speed will make them a more viable choice in battle.”

✔  BUG: “My melee units are ineffective against archers because their attack deals zero damage when it should be doing double damage against ranged units.”

When you encounter a bug in a game, visit the appropriate bug-reporting sub-forum for that title. There, you can:

  1. Search for any existing reports of the issue (and add to it).
  2. Find instructions on how to submit a bug report—including everything we’ll need to reproduce the problem internally.
  3. Submit a new bug report if one doesn’t already exist.

Here’s a list of the forums where you can report game issues:

REPORTING A TECHNICAL ISSUE

If you’re encountering a technical issue purchasing, launching, or playing the game, it can be more difficult to narrow down the root cause of the problem. It is recommended that you begin by working through some basic steps first:

[TECH ISSUES] Basic Steps to Address Common Game Issues

If none of those apply, your best beet is to reach out to the SEGA Support Team for troubleshooting steps, optimization tips, and other answers to common questions.
