None of the missing Greenskin characters actually fit with the missing units

When making a prediction image for the Greenskins side of the DLC something stuck out to me

None of the missing Greenskin characters actually fit with the missing units.png

Apart from Gitilla (who most likely wont be the LL) and Spear Chukkas, none of the missing units correlate to theme of the DLC. 


This makes it extremely hard to accurately narrow down the predictions for the DLC characters because at least some of the missing units and the LL are supposed to be related in some fashion like in Thrones of Decay.


Its gonna be an interesting reveal whoever it is.

I actually did find an Aracknorok (Slinger) variant, so maybe they could do what they did with the Steam Tank (Volley Gun). But this is the only unit I can see that relates to a character (Snagla Grobspit/Forest Goblins)

Arachnarok Spider with FlingerArachnarok Spider with FlingerI guess Snagla may be the front runner? I'd prefer a Squig Gobba tho.

You missed Giant Spider Riders, they fit with Snaggla. 


The rest don't fit, but that's much of the muchness, they don't really need to.

You do realize that Greenskins are missing a lot more than that right? Weapon variants AND generic options. Hence, 2 DLCs are in order along the following lines:


Orc focus with the coming Khorne DLC:
Morglum, Gorfang or Gorbad LL

Borgut Facebeater LH

Savage Orc Great Shaman L

Savage Orc Big Boss H

Black Orcs w Shields + Dual Weapons

Squigadon

Mangler Squigs

Big Stabba

Savage Orcs w Spears&Shields + Savage Boar Boyz w Spears&Shield

FLC: Black Orc Warboss L


And then a Goblin-focused one:

Snagla LL

Gitilla LH

Forest Goblin Great Shaman

Forest Goblin Big Boss

Forest Goblins (2 variants, Sword&Shield and Bows)

Colossal Squig

Squig Gobba

Goblin Spear Chukkaz

Night Goblins (Spears&Shield)

CA should skip the spear chukka and big stabba. They just wouldn’t be fun additions to the roster. No one uses Dawi bolt throwers and the big stabba would be a worse version of the skaven triad units

They the last unit addition who really matter (if that a 5 unit lord pack of course)

I wasn’t necessarily suggesting weapon variants as an alternative. For me I’d focus on units which add something different.


Colossal squig for fast SEM. Mangler squig for infantry blender madness. Giant spider riders for monstrous cav. Forest goblins with spears for ceap AL chaff. The final spot id either go araknarok web flinger for a hybrid unit or use it to fill extra generic lord/ hero options.


Either everything I listed brings more than the spear chukka and big stabba

Would be nice but we also need Savage Orc Warboss and generic savage orc shaman. Yes the shaman would be the same as a regular orc, just reskined and different voice lines, but it would be important so that we can do thematic Wurrzag campaigns.

Bit different. Spear doesn't = Shotgun.

Grudge-Rakers don't even have unique animations. Spearboyz do. So they are perfectly fine as a DLC unit.

I would totally be up for it. Imo it would also be an easy way for CA to get plus points with the community, these generic Lords and heroes don't take much work and are nice little goodies to gift. Same with Empire Wzard Lords.
