Which Stormfiend variants should we get?

The next Skaven update is spelled Thanquol, Verminlords and Stormfiends, we all know this. However, even if the DLC roster size remains at 5 (or 6 with the Plague Ogre variants in ToD), we are still only likely to recieve one or two of the Stormfiend variants, of which there are 6. Which leaves little room for error on this front, unless Skaven recieve another DLC after Thanquol bringing further variants. Now, on the assumption that we may only recieve two, atleast initially, which ones should we get as a priority? The options are:
1. Doom-Flayer Gauntlets - spinning iron balls with blades
2. Windlaunchers - Poisoned Wind Globe launchers
3. Grinderfists - spinning Warp-Grinders
4.  Shock Gauntlets - exactly what it sounds like
5. Ratling Cannons - Ratling guns but on a Rat Ogre
6.  Warpfire Projectors - Rat Ogre Warpfire throwers

I think they should mix and match one melee weapon with one ranged weapon, giving us 3 variants.

Warpfire Projector + Grinderfist = The warp weapon variant.
Ratling Cannon + Doom-Flayer Gauntlet = The spinning weapon variant.
Windlauncher + Shock Gauntlet = The other one.

Agreed, it reduces de number of variants to a reasonable number while giving us all the weapon options.

Warpfire Projector + Grinderfist = The warp weapon combo.
Ratling Cannon + Doom-Flayer Gauntlet = The spinning weapon combo.
Windlauncher + Shock Gauntlet = The other ones.

it should start with melee, warp fire thrower, Rattling Cannons as a preset option and then the player, via tech should be allowed to design their own.

Nice to see a final melee option with shoulder mounted range options.

OR...we give them 6 arms and put one weapon on each arm!

Or, we could let people choose how they want to set up their load out. I might want a bruiser melee squad or a full squad kitted out with Rattling Cannons.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the lore of the attached Packmaster being used. The more control the PM has the great range accuracy but, lower melee stats.

I hope they allow a lot of tinkering.

Lol are we even allowed to do this?

So if you had to choose only two variants?

All variants need to be added

At least:

1. Warpfire Projectors
2. Doom-Flayer Gauntlets
3. Shock Gauntlets
4. Ratling Cannons

Unfortunately, Stormfiends are an End Times exclusive and will not be appearing due to licensing issues.

Fortunately, we can hope for Augmented Rat Ogres though that could fill a similar role.

There are already ET units in the game so, I wouldn’t worry about it. It would certainly be an issue if GW didn’t own the ET licence but, fortunately they do.

We'll have to see, but I think the problem is that Stormfiends are exclusive to End Times events, not just that they were introduced during end times but existed before. Same reason we could see someone like Gutrot or Skarr, but won't see Phoenix King Malekith

Mmmm...

Ratling Cannons and Grinderfists.

One ranged, one melee.  And those 2 have the coolest models.

Also Grinderfists would get Vanguard Deployment.

They are not connected to the End Times events.

You sure? I didn't think they were created until Skyre and Moulder worked together during End Times
