I imagine names are blocked for now to avoid people from impersonating others, because I can't imagine a different reason. 

Will it be possible for us to change it in the future?

I hope so too, and I'm not sure why the badges appear spaced out and large as they are (without any obvious settings to tweak them) when others have smaller one's.

I see you have discovered how to make the badges smaller. How did you do it??

So they're only big when you've selected them as your featured favourite badges. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove them completely, but if you select each featured and replace it with the same badge, you'll eventually end up with just 1 large one
