Locking the thread. It's serving only as a tool to beat each over the head with and is leading to people being sanctioned for being rude to each other, and directing that rudeness further towards our team here at Creative Assembly.

Our forums are here for all of us to share our thoughts and feelings, but if that can't be done in a respectful manner, we will take an active role in removing folks from the boards, and preventing discussions like this from taking place.

Just a note to say thank you for the feedback we've had so far. We're looking into many of the key things raised (Dark Mode, Numbers, More Avatars etc) ,as well as a lot of the more nuanced feedback around the experience you're having here.

Keep it coming, we're sharing it with the teams who are building the systems in the background and you're giving us plenty to think about. It's appreciated, so thank you!

Folks, we're not having witch hunts on the boards here. Always welcoming of criticisms and feedback but these types of conversations are one step removed from what follows next of firmly pointing fingers at individuals. Locking the thread, and leaving it be.

It will otherwise self correct after about 24 hours or so if you don't mind waiting.

Appreciate the feedback - but we're gonna keep things focused on the thread here to the experience with the forums directly. Do consider starting up a thread over in the Pharaoh boards.

For anyone unaware - the switch see's us move to a forums platform developed in house at SEGA from our friends over at Amplitude Studios. Previously our forums have used external, 3rd party solutions which whilst they can be great for off the shelf options, can become limited for us in looking to build out some more bespoke options and help to maintain better direction on where we want the boards to go.

This is why we're keen to gather feedback as we go, especially at these early stages as it could prove invaluable for future improvements.
