We’re delighted to be opening the doors to our brand new Total War forum experience – welcome to the CA Community!
Over the last few years, we’ve loved sharing your experiences of playing Total War games on our previous message boards, amassing tens of thousands of users and hundreds and thousands of posts in the process. But the time has come for something new, so we’ve worked closely with our friends across SEGA to develop this new home.
We’re excited to launch CA Community in time for the arrival of Total War: PHARAOH, while also welcoming Total War: WARHAMMER III players.
Here’s a run down of what to expect from the CA Community experience.
What is it?
CA community is the next evolution of the Total War forum experience. It is the official destination for news about the development of our games and the best place to enjoy moderated discussions. Plus, you can earn digital rewards and badges for being a member of our community.
It is powered by the Games2Gether platform, which was designed and developed by our sister studio, Amplitude. As the site grows we will be able to offer a variety of new tools including a community newsfeed, a dedicated help centre and the ability to submit feedback and bug reports directly to the Total War team.
CA Community is the new dedicated community space for Total War and future CA Games. Come take a look at community.creative-assembly.com
How do I sign up?
If you were already a member of the previous Total War forums, you should be able to login using your same CA Account credentials as before. If not, head to community.creative-assembly.com to create an account and get started.
When is it live?
Right now!
The CA Community is an evolving space which will offer new features as it grows. The first few weeks will focus on bug fixes and establishing each of the game ‘universes’ that can be found on the site. As with any community space, we welcome your ideas!
Why the change?
The Total War forums have been an important space for conversation over the years but the time has come for a better, bigger, more modern experience that can evolve along with the needs of our players. We’d like to thank our AMAZING moderators who have helped keep the forums a safe and constructive space, as well as everyone who contributed to them over the years.
If you wish to learn more about the existing forum content before it is archived, you can read our statement here.
What else is coming?
Games2Gether offers lots of tools that we can choose to introduce over time as the site grows. Examples include the ability to vote on ideas for new game content!
If you would like to see how other studios are using the Games2Gether platform, you can also visit the official Amplitude or Company of Heroes forums.
Are there Rules of Conduct?
We sure do – you can read them here.
