This is an extension of the bug that Volley Gun Steam Tanks don't generate Schematics since the issue is much bigger.

So far i found out that Schematics are not generated from:

damage dealt by Master Engineers
damage dealt by Engineers
damage dealt by any type of Elector Count State Troops units
damage dealt by any Gunnery unit in the reinforcing army (even if it is your own faction)
damage dealt by Volley Gun Steam Tank units

Step by step of the bug

Step 1

Build an army that only contains non-gunnery and said units

Step 2

Fight any battle

Step 3

Receive no schematics even if said units dealt damage
