We hope you’ve been revelling in prosperous campaigns so far this year!

Now that we’re already a month into 2024 we just wanted to check in, see how you’re all doing, and to paint you a picture on what you can expect to see from us this month.

Total War: WARHAMMER III

The WARHAMMER III team have been hard at work on Update 4.2, which is now in the testing stage and looking awesome. We’re excited to talk more about this update in the coming weeks, and starting at the back end of next week, Game Director Rich Aldridge will be talking more (through the medium of blog) about what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what you can expect from the new content coming in this update! We’ll also be dropping a brand new ebook a little later in the month, titled ‘Things in the Wood’ – any ideas who this one could be about?

Barring anything out of the ordinary, Update 4.2 – bringing all new content to Shadows of Change - will be the next update coming to WARHAMMER III.

Total War: PHARAOH

We hope you’ve been having a blast playing as the Sea Peoples in the free High Tide update, and causing the collapse of civilisation in the process! We’re currently working on a hotfix to remedy some bugs that have come to light in the wake of the release, which we’re aiming to rolling out within the next couple of weeks. 

Remember, if you experience any bugs or issues while playing we encourage you to report them here so we can get them logged and investigated.

Strategy Gaming Survey

Earlier tonight, our partners at SEGA started to email out to a selection of players, across Total War and other strategy games from the SEGA family, with an invitation to complete a survey. If you have received that email, great! Have a read through what’s been sent to you and know that we’re grateful if you’re able to take the time to fill it out.

If you didn’t, don’t fret! This is part of research that’s designed to investigate what players like, dislike and want to see in strategy games (including Total War), as well as to get a better understanding of who you are, and what you like when it comes to Strategy games.

Research is just one avenue among all the many other sources of feedback that we take in across Total War, each and every day.

Not everyone will receive that email, despite the different opt-ins that you may have selected in the past, but we would love for all and any fans of Total War to get involved.   

Below, you’ll find links to the survey in English, German and Simplified Chinese. The questions cover a wide range of topics and will be helpful to all of us across Total War, so we really appreciate you spending the time filling it in (on average, it takes around 20 minutes to complete). 

Some of the questions may seem strange, awkward or difficult to answer, but know that there’s a science to these things that may not always be obvious. Please answer as best you can from the options available. Also, whilst we know that it's fun to speculate why we might be asking some questions, it’s worth remembering that sometimes we’re only asking a question to see what the answer is! ;)

The game needs this addition desperately.

That was painful. 

It sure was but it also gives us some insight in what CA is thinking about doing next I think, some of those questions where rather pointed.

For me I've never clicked I really don't care for multiplayer so many times in a row before :)
