I am currently playing as the Masters of Innovation (Malakai Makaisson). Grimgor Ironhide declared war on me over the the end turn, so I attacked him at Dragon's Death, the settlement in the Chaos Wastes.

When I loaded into the map I realized that the layout is identical to the one you have when attacking a Wood Elf settlement.
If this is intended, then feel free to close this issue.
I am not using mods of any kind at the moment.
