I recently bought a Windows PC last weekend due to my laptop not working properly. I went to download total war it went fine but when I tried to play it it wont launch. On steam it keeps saying running then goes back to the play button. I went to the verify and did that but that didnt do anything then I went to try and uninstall and reinstall it still didnt work. I even CLEARED MY ENTIRE PC. It still doesn't work. I also tried to clear the cache. What do I do next?

I had this same issue, very frustrating. What fixed it for me was installing Rome II, launching it, then go back in and Attila will launch then.

I presume it is something missing with the launcher that is updated when you install Rome 2.
