Hello folks!

Context:
I have been playing to Shogun 2 around 50 hours a couple of years ago.
It worked fine, then I stopped for a while.
When I installed it again and tried to play it (on a better computer) : it has become unplayable.

Problem: From the moment the menu starts, the game stutters massively (in the menu, in the campaign map, in battles...it stutters every 5 seconds and micro freeze somehow).

Attempts: 

I tried :

- to verify files

- to desinstall and reinstall

- to change the script

- to change the settings

- to check that my gpu was actually working and not my igpu

- to update my drivers

- to check power management

Nothing works so far.

My specs:

Windows 10 Pro

AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics 3.90 GHz

RAM 16 GO

NVIDIA 2070 SUPER

May I ask you for your help ?

UPDATE :
I updated my BIOS, formatted the computer, update my GPU drivers, tweaked the settings, verified files, nothing works.
Somehow it works on my professional laptop which is also recent. I do not understand why.

What can I do to solve this ?

Hi. Also have such problem( Have i7-13700K + GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER

But looks like it is reporduced each time when I close the game(
So, you need to roll back video driver again and again install a new one...
Pity( Maybe Nvidia will release a new driver
