What counts as a Close Victory?

Does anybody know why this is considered a 'close' victory by the game?

The AI lost close to 70% of it's forces while I lost about 0.5% of mine.

Curious how the game reached the conclusion it did.

When a victory is one sided but in your favour and shows up as close victory its most likely linked to how much ammo you used up. (someone with more detailed knowledge could explain it in more detail or prove me wrong)

If you fired a lot of arrows, those count in the initial balance of power calculation.

And Horse Archers have a lot of arrows...
