It's time to take a look at where your new major faction leaders will be starting in the expanded Dynasties map! 🗺️

➡️ Assyria (Hanigalbat) - Central Upper Mesopotamia

➡️ Babylon - Southern Mesopotamia

➡️ Mycenae - Eastern and Central Peloponnese

➡️ Troy - Dardanelles

Is Babylon a single settlement Province or not? In the Map expansion video it was shown as such but here it looks like Southern Mesopotamia has 2-3 settlements. 

I'd go with Assyria since starting positions that give you more options to expand while offering a decent challenge tends to make the best playthroughs.

Assyria is probably the most interesting one.

I'm playing as Troy and the size and scope of Anatolia is breathtaking. Being able to expand east beyond Assuwa is the Bronze Age experience I've dreamt of since playing Total War Troy. Even after conquering western Anatolia and making Mycenae my vassal, the strength of enemy garrisons made my invasion of Hatti into a massive, expensive, and challenging undertaking. Dynasties feels like something special.

I know that it's the end of the line for Pharaoh, but I would have loved to see the campaign map expanded into the Caucasus. Colchis would have been a blast to explore.
