​Fans have been waiting for a Bretonnia update for a long time, so CA could finally fulfill our dreams

I'd be ok with it. I've been saying it'd be nice if they got a dlc since they have the smallest roster in the game, and it's doesn't really offer much beyond a single "flank with cav" playstyle.

Sometimes I think they will never have a DLC or a FLC.However, but maybe I remember wrong, they talked about a future update and wanting to use something similar to the WOC unit recruitment and evolution system for the Bretonnian cavalry.For the rest: I still hope for Malloublade and a dark Bretonnia, if they decide to make a DLC

Grail knights should really not be recruit-able. It would be cool if our knights can attain higher ranks through a loreful system by questing and ultimately earn the Lady's blessing.

I also hate the Bretonnian economic buildings which require you to build mills e.g. to have better farms, only to then demolish the mill because you also wanted a resource building.

Lastly, the vow system needs a rework, it's very bland now.

CA once mentioned Bohemond. And stated that Bretonnia is complete. But it was long time ago. Maybe they changed their minds.

Bretonnia itself I would be ok with. I have no issue them being a paid DLC vs free race and all.

What I would be miffed about is them being paired with Slaanesh. That's rather unthematic. A thematic Bretonnian matchup would be against Tzeentch, in retaliation for Kairos ravaging Bretonnia during the Year of Woe (Daemons of Chaos 8th ed, p. 23).

My ideal DLC in this case would be Egrimm van Horstmann facing off against the Cult of Ulric, with Bretonnia joining the charge.

I simply won't buy it. Thankfully we have that option now.

I’d be surprised considering CA has said their roster is done, and that they’d be a good candidate for a FLC rework. Would probably mean some GW involvement to flesh them out which would be nice, but not something I’m expecting at all considering their OW release.

At this news, I would scream the house down with joy, then, with tears of joy streaming down my face, fall to my knees, hug my screen, and thank God, Ca, GW, and the lady.

Maybe I wouldn't be quite so reserved.​

would be a more fitting matchup than Cathay and Norsca that’s for sure. 

Disappointed.  I like Bretonnia, but their current spot as a pure-FLC faction which isn't too hard to play makes them a great recommendation to new players who aren't sure if they want to buy the DLC.  CA would be making the process of getting new players into the game harder.

It would be amazing to see Bretonnia getting the love it deserves. It would also fit alongside High Elves.

We’ve had an entire DLC devoted to Chaos with CoC, so this line of reasoning doesn’t make sense.

We barely have any idea what the connection of Slaanesh is to Cathay or the Monkey King (it doesn’t have to be the Monkey King), as we don’t have that much lore between them. Of course we have a small connection between Yin-Yin and the HE.

Dechala raided Ind, which could have included the Mountains of Heaven. The Masque can be literally anywhere.

Either Norsca or Cathay works. Aislinn is known to raid Norsca after all. Cathay can have any relation with Slaanesh/HE that GW decides, it’s uncharted territory.

Wine, Music, Dance, art, decadence of the nobles. 

Just take Sigvald who was obsessed with Bretonnia.

I would like to see Malloublade and the dark knights of Bretonnia as sub-faction where he starts as an ordinary Bretonian lord and over time as campaign progress it becomes corrupted and the units slowly turn to the dark side.
