Realistically because of gameplay requirements. Seems like the Cathay character is both caster and duelist whereas in TWW3 having multiple options for army variety is more important. That said the lack of guandaos is a tragedy unless they're saved for a later DLC.

I can’t believe GW teased Cathay before the event.. would’ve been a great surprise

Damn those models are looking incredible. Hopefully we'll get some big lore dumps about Cathay soon or even better the first novel about them.

how much you think it will cost for the whole cathay army? I dont play tabletop but I am tempted to collect

What is the great spirit longma? Seems a bit different from the great longma in the game, are they supposed to be the same stuff or GW added another mount?
