Tell us something about the next DLC already!

95 days and counting.

I think this is one issue that’s draining interest in the trilogy. Rather than waiting I’m just forgetting about it, the timescales are really frustrating, especially when they’re not backed up with reasonable communication. The comms guys need to start reminding management about not going back to their old ways.

First devblog for OoD was only two months after the release of Thrones of Decay, I can understand this one taking a little bit longer as there were the holidays but CA really should start releasing news soon about the upcoming DLC, it's about time they confirm the races we are getting at least.

I should also mention that patch 5.1 was 9 months ago.

Don't worry, it will definitely be released before December 31st of this year.

Patch 6.1 first, then DLC news.

Yeah it is about time that we get some infos about the next DLC. At least gimme the races and LLs. 

Before they try to sell new DLC, I wish they would fix and enhance OoD.

Maybe Legend should make another "Only Cathay DLCs left" video :D. At least one or two weeks after his video we got a post on X what the next three races will be.

Yes, the reveal was via X. The dev video came shortly after that.

The next DLC will be an Empire only DLC but its going to be Hisme Stoutheart representing the Moot and a brand new imperial Dwarf LL called Gram the Greedy. This DLC would add these 2 Cultures as full Subfactions for the Empire. 

I do think the radio silence is strange.

I keep looking at their blogs expecting a sentence or two teasing the next DLC, only to be surprised it's not there every time.

Games obviously axed and will be dropped after 6.2. The End is nigh!

Eh i do agree, it's starting to be a bit of a long radio silence, dlc-wise.

What i've always expected is a tease in the 6.1 official release blog, which is still a week-ish off. If the blog comes out and there's absolutely no tease whatsoever, then yea im going to start to be a bit "worried" too.

I was indeed expecting to see some very minor teases in these last blogs but whateves. In my mind the first tease was always going to come with the 6.1 release blog so... i'll wait and see.

I be honest, during Christmas I was fully convinced that we would know the next DLC come March/April. What a sweet Summer Child I was... 

What's to be worried in the hypothetical scenario that CA reverts back to its previous model regarding marketing?

I would understand if someone prefers to know everything about future content as soon as possible, but getting worried about it sounds a tad hysterical, not going to lie.

Yes. The old model was terrible compared to the highly praised and informative Dev blogs. The idea of radio silence until like July/August is indeed terrifying and worrying. 

but obviously you don't care since you never even played any of the WH titles.
