I've been sick as of late. In my sickness addled mind, a formula has been pondered.

The last two DLC's have had DoW content in it, both in the form of normal units and in the form of RoR. Sometimes multiple factions gave us new stuff for them (Omens gave us Crossbow Greenskins, for example.)

Could the next DLC have 2 factions that give us more DoW stuff? As the ultimate 'We need a few more units done before we do DOW to save some cash' move?

IDK what factions they could add that'd add to DOW, outside of High Elves.

High Elves and Dark Elves which are a common match up in the speculation about the next DLC both have content from DoW they could bring. Asarnil the Dragonlord and Mengil's Manflayers.

Thats what I expect. Both HE and DE would be ideal for that with Asarnil and Mengils MAnflayers as unique DoW RoRs on par with Rugluds boyz. 

After that the only other exotic DoW RoRs would be for Norsca and LM I think.

Yeah I don't think that the Cursed Company should be a VC RoR. It should actually come with the DoW DLC as a nice little centrepiece extra. 

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some Cathayan DoW-themed units, as iirc the Dogs of War were mentioned as operating in the area in the lore interviews. Would be a nice to tie-in some mercenaries from that side of the world.

I was wondering about that but I was kinda scared to ask tbh.

I knew they did stuff in the Cathayan region (Maybe one of them will have a start position in that neck of the woods?) but I also wasn't sure if there was any Cathay flavored stuff in DOW.

Whenever Monke comes we will likely get a basic Money-warrior RoR that will available for DoW.

There isn’t any Cathay-flavored stuff yet, but it would be a good and easy place to tie them into the world more. I could see either some Monkey Warriors as suggested above, some rapscallion peasants, or some former members of Cathay’s navy turned to sell swords. Would be some neat RoR flavor for Yin-Yin.

Cathayan mercs are definitely are a thing, because literally everywhere has mercs.

But there were no Cathayan RoRs in TT.

Hobgoblins, Halflings, Amazons, Albion, and Araby all had RoR.

Normally, I'm not particularly concerned with mean people on the Internet.

But I was concerned that if I said 'Could Cathay give us Dogs of War stuff', that the entire topic would devolve into a debate regarding that one little comment and almost nothing else.

I could see Yin-Yin giving us mercenary gunpowder units for DoW too, tbh.

Humans won't come before the Race is added, because DoW humans, both generic and RoRs, are Tileans. They wouldn't fit anywhere else. 

Plus, they need pikes anyways.

Anything from a pre-existing race, however, can come before them.

No it’s the other way. Exotic stuff (Dwarfs, Elves, Greenskins) comes with DLC but the humans and halflings will come with the DoW DLC.

EDIT: Just googled Asarnil the Dragonlord and I think I finally found something to like from DoW. Wouldn't mind at all if he made it in the game, provided High Elves got access to him. Mengil Manhide and his Manflayers would also be a quality addition to Dark Elves. I approve of this.

Asarnil is a perfect choice for a legendary hero in the DoW. He needs to get in line behind Korhil for the High Elves

They might do something with the Strigoi and Gashnag.
