Interesting. So Bloodbeasts aren't SEM. They're Exalted Chaos Spawn. So we could potentially go: Forsaken -> Chaos Spawn -> Bloodbeasts. For Valkia at least in WoC. If Egrimm's added in a DLC we could potentially go Forsaken -> Chaos Spawn -> Firewyrm -> Great Chaos Spawn of Tzeentch.

I like Spawn so this is interesting.

The video was made months ago so maybe they changed it to a SEM later. Pretty sure it was called just Blood Beast (singular) in the blog.

I checked and it wasn’t. Was also called Beasts in the blog.

I like Spawn so this is interesting.

I don’t think they’re considering it a spawn and are instead going with the Liber Chaotica ambiguity of it possibly being daemonic in origin.

They also didn’t mention granting access to the Bloodbeast to the WoC, which means it might not be a part of the Spawn upgrade path in the Warband system, but rather a part of the Gift system. However, it’s unclear.
