Why would he?

His start isn't very interesting, moving Skrag has been a somewhat common request.

Because why would you want two Ogre LLs in the same continent of the Old World? Golgfag is well established here, while Skrag can be anywhere. He's the kind of guy who should be in Naggaroth instead of ostankya.

Eh, a couple people on this forum doesn’t make it a common request. His start is as interesting as it would be elsewhere, except of course putting him in the MoM, which would be boring and repetitive with Greasus already there.

I would say that Golgfag and Skrag’s start positions are far enough away from each other to be pretty different.

Between the two LLs, it would be Golgfag who would have made the most sense somewhere far flung; but I imagine they wanted to put him in a hotbed of conflict and where he could sensibly be contracted out in either direction. Being smack dab in between Chaos, Kislev, and the Empire will lead to some fun emergent narratives.

Skrag often spills into the Empire, while Golgfag now starts in the Empire. I think its better to move Skrag a bit further away, like Badlands or upper Darklands maybe.

I'm also OK with a bigger move to Naggaroth tbh.

I've seen this requested on Reddit or the official Discord too, obviously I'm aware that this forum does not represent all the community.

Posted 4 days ago but "now that you have read Golgfag's blog"... come on Pongo, timing is everything. If you didn't rush to save the dalmatians quickly, you know who would have had her new cloak of skins (not skulls).

2 LLs in the homeland is a pretty common minimum standard, many races even have 3. Greasus needs help holding down the Mourns against Grimgor.

Im guessing Skrag did not move since Golgfag looks like he can teleport. In a perfect world Skrag was never in the border Princes and golgfag could start there without being redundant. No one gets excited if a new LL comes with an old starting position.

Anyway, seems that ship has sailed, but at least we can get some variety with Golgfag.

I’m in those spaces too, and I still wouldn’t call it a common request as some other moves. Have some people requested it? Sure.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a move to Naggaroth, but also don’t mind the current start. Skrag can go South for a more exotic direction and can ally in different directions pretty easily.

It’s common, but not a rule. Considering the Ogres could top off at 3 LLs, maximizing start position diversity is pretty important. If CA wants Greasus to dominate the MoM, then they can give the AI enough buffs to make that happen.

Honestly Skrag moving wouldn't be bad, but I'm curious where this leaves Gorbad, since he also is connected to the Empire/was destroying stuff near the Empire in the trailer.

Probably Black Crag.

*sigh*  Golgfag should have been in the Southern Realms and Skrag should have been moved elsewhere.

People weren't asking to move Skrag because it's not interesting.  They were asking him to move because he's where Golgfag should be.

Bull****.  That's exactly what I want if the old position is perfect for the new LL.

I'm psyched as hell at the prospect of Wurrzag moving to Southlands and Gorbad starting in Badlands.  Hopefully CA doesn't drop the ball.

Hopefully we get Ghark as a FLL someday and he can take up residence in northern MoM.

The Iron Rock is my guess, with Black Crag as the early stronghold you need to siege.

I like Golgfags start, there's numerous patrons you could follow for different campaigns.

I'm certainly going to play lawful good first and try and secure the Empire from the outside. Then roll around the world saving order races.

CA please remove Greasus Wheelchair.

It looks dumb, does not fit his character and lore at all.

If Gnoblar carpet is too expensive to make give him a ridiculous rich looking charriot or a decorated mount instead.

Hell, at this point I would even prefer him to be on foot eventhough that goes even harder against his lore..  But it would still be better than this cheap dumb looking wheelchair pushed by 2 gnoblars as if the Overtyrant is a senile crazy old man.

Yeah, no new Greasus mount suck.  I'm okay with him starting out with the cart, but he should have an upgrade.
