Today, we’ve released Hotfix 6.2.2, bringing new fixes and tweaks to Total War: WARHAMMER III including improvements for Warriors of Chaos’ campaign AI, as well as the latest round of battle balance updates.

BUG FIXES
HIGHLIGHTS
Warriors of Chaos Campaign AI has recieved an update - here’s Rado with the latest:
Hi there,
We identified and resolved an issue with how military buildings for the Warriors of Chaos are categorised and prioritised. This fix improves the Campaign AI’s construction priorities and incentivises it to choose better province-level construction templates.
Additionally the “Auto-construct buildings” feature should be much better about choosing the correct buildings in the corresponding categories. We will continue to monitor the situation in case any further issues arise.

PERFORMANCE
Resolved edge cases with excessive loading times on some limited spec machines with HDDs.
Resolved an issue where hovering over certain events could cause the game to crash.
GENERAL GAMEPLAY
Resolved an issue that allowed Arcane Essays to be looted in defensive battles by armies with no Imperial Wizards in them when playing as the Golden Order.
Resolved an issue where factions could not loot pooled resources when attacking forces of the Golden Order.
The Hobgoblin Bolt Thrower no longer benefits from the Hell-Forge (Since Hobgoblins do not have a capacity limit and do not expend armaments, they are unaffected by Hell-Forge upgrades.)
Fixed duplicated "minor faction potential" and "ai strength & thread assessment" setting fields when creating a multiplayer campaign.
Fixed the Ogre Camp tooltip where it wasn’t being displayed correctly in some mission descriptions.
Gorbad's "Block an' Smash!" tactic now correctly affects Savage Orcs too.
Fixed a sound effect not playing during the final encounter in Land of the Plaguelord in Realms of Chaos.
SKILLS & TRAITS
Ogre artillery now benefits from Zhatan's artillery range increase defeat trait.
The tooltip on Skulltaker’s ability ‘Bloody Onslaught’ now correctly updates its duration after putting a skill point into the ability.
ANCILLARIES & MAGIC ITEMS
Reduced the penalty that Tomb Kings & Dwarfs have to their item drop chance to be in line with the game-wide reduction introduced in Patch 6.2 (these factions should see items drop at a higher rate now).
The Golden Crown of Atrazar now has the correct uniqueness score, and should appear correctly compared to other unique items.
The item "Void Armour" now correctly gives Fear as well as Terror.
The Burning Books of Khorne now correctly apply Khorne corruption to provinces, not just ones that you own.
Fixed an issue where, after collecting all the Burning Books of Khorne and triggering the final dilemma, there was still a chance to drop a new Burning Book of Khorne.
BUILDINGS/SETTLEMENTS
Fort Bergbres can now intercept armies moving through its pass, just like the other forts.
When building the Khorne Cultist Outpost/Enclave (Medicine), Lord and Hero stats now properly update upon building completion and upgrades.
UI/UX
Fixed parts of character/army selection UI being visible while Vampire Coast's "Treasure Maps & Pieces of Eight" panel is open.
Fixed “Faction Claims a Soul!” World Event message transition to parchment.
Fixed tooltip when demolishing Ogre Camp Buildings.
ENVIRONMENT/UNIT MODELS
Fixed an issue where several Cathay farmland maps had oddly-shaped rice paddies. The paddies are now properly flooded!
BALANCE CHANGES
Known issues
The “Solar Engine” passive displays a vigour reduction of 0% per second.
This is actually 0.25% per second and the decimals will be adjusted in a later patch.
Thundertusk was intended to receive a unit cap limit of 1 per army in multiplayer.
This did not make it into this release, but will happen in a later patch.

We’ve created a new category of capture power for elite infantry specifically in domination mode, increasing their ability to contest the point vs cheaper units.

We’re raising the minimum amount of knockback ignore chance we give foot characters to 40% across the board.
Previously, several light non-combat characters (mostly wizards) had values between 20-30%.
These characters are proving a bit more resilient than we’d like when faced with overwhelmingly massive opponents, so we’re raising the odds that they’ll stay standing when attacked, allowing them to both receive (and dish out) attacks a bit more reliably.
