Hello CA !

Would it be possible to finally increase (or remove) this awful LOD distance ? It is definitely too short ! In previous opus (TWW1 and TWW2) LOD appeared a lot more far away from our camera.

It gives a bad visual experience, especially when you have a good pc config (even with a medium config, TWW1 and TWW2 turned well).

Why don't you make a LOD distance setting in the "Option" menu panels ?

The worst part of LOD now is that LOD0 switch very fast to LOD3. Like LOD1 and LOD2 are used for a very small distance (maybe 2 meters?) so the switch is directly from best to worse, with almost nothing in between

Yes it's a real shame ! Especially in 2024... It still hurts my eyes, especially when the downgraded models appear brutally... I hope they will finally fix this soon !

Yep. It's not just characters either. Grass on the ground exists in only a tiny radius around the camera. It's really bad.

And the fix is very easy....

A few lines to change in art.xml

There is a mod for that. It also explains the issue with more details.
