The same situation occurs in case of Warhost of the Apocalypse. Their color scheme in custom battle creator looks far diffrent than on actual battlefiled and looks like a bit darker variation of Legion of the Gorequeen colour palette. But their unit models looked like that since Total War Warhammer 1, so maybe colors shown in battle creator menu are just wrong.
Step by step of the bug

Start custom battle where both Shadow Legion and The Warhost of the Apocalypse take part

Select some shielded marauders and chaos warriors units

I'm not sure when exactly the change happened, but the Shadow Legion (Be'lakor faction) seems to have wrong colour scheme. It looks black-grey, when it's supposed to be (as per the banner and the colours shown in the custom battle lobby) blue-red. It's visible in case of Marauders the most, as they usually have their shields painted in the faction's colours. As can be seen in the screenshots attached, their shields are grey. The problem is both present in custom battles and the Immortal Empires campaign. No mods installed.
