Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Start Steam and login.
Step 2
Select play from Steam library.
Step 3
Select play from CA Total War start screen.
Step 4
Observe the game attempting to start by moving to a black screen.
Step 5
The Steam library start screen pops up.

Warhammer 3 will not launch. It loads the start Total War start screen and proceeds to the logo screen. It then turns black and returns back to the Stem launch screen.
I have validated the files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, updated the gpu drivers, and tried to run this as an administrator. None of these things have resolved this problem.
Everything was fine prior to the release of patch 5.2. Patch 5.2.1 did not help.
Please advise.
